1 starHorrible experience with the Lendmark *********** location. Manager ****** blatantly lied to cover up horrible decisions by them. I had a 2021 Ninja that I no longer wanted to keep due to not riding it anymore. I requested a voluntarily repossession, which they of course accepted. I delivered the bike as promised to the *********** location, received my receipt of delivery, and expected as in the contract to pay whatever difference that was left after they sold the bike. Instead, the *********** location left the bike outside, overnight, resulting in a letter being sent to me by Victorville PD notifying me that the very same bike I dropped off was stolen, crashed, and in the impound. I contacted Lendmark immediately seeking answers, and only then was I notified by them that the bike was stolen from them. They refused to pick up the now broken stolen bike, but agreed to not seek any financial repercussions towards me as they cannot give a honest amount due to not being able to sell the bike, and remove that amount from what I would owe.Two years later, they have refused to remove the account from my credit, and still seeking the FULL amount of the loan, meanwhile pretending to not remember agreeing to have the credit report reflect what actually happened. Dishonest practices when a mistake is made is horrible business practices, and there is no way I should owe the full amount after a voluntary repo and Lendmark literally gave away the bike to some random person by leaving outside overnight, robing me of any financial relief of the voluntary repo.Review fromDonna C

1 starVery difficult to work with. Didn't understand federal pays, wouldn't accept self employment income, asking for things of concern on joint accounts (not borrower).Manager was rude and listening to conversations in room with other applicants, he seemed unpleasant to work with. . Subject: Formal Complaint Against Landmark Financial Services To Whom It May Concern,I am writing to report a highly unprofessional and upsetting experience with Landmark Financial Services.On 1-24-25 at 3:04 pm, I contacted Landmark regarding a vehicle account tied to my mother, the primary account holder. My mother has been incarcerated, and I needed guidance on handling the account and vehicle during this time.I spoke with an employee named Nereydi ******, whose conduct was shockingly unprofessional. When I explained my situation, she became hostile, dismissive, and argumentative. She called me a smart ***, which was completely inappropriate and made me feel verbally attacked. I asked to be transferred to a supervisor or manager, but she refused and continued to escalate the situation.Eventually, she transferred me to another employee who was equally rude and dismissive. Despite informing both individuals that the call was being recorded, they continued to treat me with hostility and disrespect, showing a complete disregard for professional behavior.I feel that Ms. ****** and her coworker failed to provide any meaningful assistance and instead made me feel insulted and humiliated. This behavior reflects poorly on Landmark Financial Services and demonstrates a serious lack of proper training and customer service standards.I am requesting that the BBB investigate this matter and urge Landmark Financial Services to address this behavior internally. No customer should be treated with such disrespect, especially when seeking help during a difficult time.Thank you for your attention to this matter. 1 starI have been paying interest on a 2012 ****** Armada Platinum at the rate of ****** since 2020.Lendmark Financial has given me paperwork stating that car was paid off. I have even tried to refinance car and companies laugh. Please help I have tried to call corporate. No call back to get to some resolution to this. They call and harass you. Are very rude but all that being said the car is only worth ******* Bought car in 2020 at ****** cannot believe it hasn't been close to being paid ****** says I still owe to date 1/2/2025 ****** dollars Please help, T.SReview fromHailey D

1 starI have had a loan with this company since 2022 at 36% interest even though all my records show 28%. Mind you it is illegal to charge more than 31% interest on a loan in the state of TN. Not only do they call and harass you about payments but they are rude when you talk to them on the phone and given an attitude. It is now almost 2025 and my original loan was for 3,600$ . They did not inform me upon signing my paperwork they charge a $500.26 death benefit and extra fees. I have paid ******** . Interest on the full amount at 30% is 1080 annual not to mention the fees they charge you just to pay your bill. For three years that is a total of *****. But they still say I owe over *****. If this company does not scream scam then I dont know what to tell you. They are crooked and do not work with you on anything nor even offer a consolidation reduction price even though you paid off the original amount you borrowed. 1 starI live in ******** and have had a loan off and on with them for last ***************************************************************************************************************************************** or was contact about the modification they without my consent adding ******* to my balance without explaining it to me .not sure who investigates this company but seems like there is under the table money floating into someone hands except the consumer. 1 starThis place is a scam. They need everything to be current, even if thats one of the reasons youre trying to get the loan. I was trying to get the loan to pay off back taxes. I couldnt get registration because I have a stop on my DMV record because of taxes. I was trying to get a loan for the back taxes and they wouldnt use my vehicle as collateral and wouldnt give me a loan without a vehicle. Complete scam stay away.Review fromTiffany T

1 starI give honest reviews, whether they're good or bad.I do not recommend this company to anyone based on my family's experience. For a few reasons. 1- They give everyone the same interest rate when buying a storage building from ************************* rather your credit rate is good or bad. 2- They waited until we paid the entire bill off then called me the next month and told me that I owe money for late payments for months ago! 3 - They are not on one accord! Its a different story every month (no late fee because we moved your due date, there will be a late fee). We have NEVER EVER missed a payment!. We were late but we paid in the same month. My husband had a heart attack twice while doing business with LendMark and we still made the payments, we couldn't make them on the due date but we made them! I asked them to change the due date and was told that the dates was changed because of his condition. I had one more payment in September because I confirmed it in August. They called in September saying that I owe over $200.I asked why, she said for late fees! Late fees, jow when my due date was changed to the end of the (29th). She and I went back d forth about a few times on different dates, so they stop calling me and they just got another $131.00 from my husband today! LendMark God does not like ugly! You will be losing customers because the universe will do it's job!**** G
