      I have a storage unit at this location. Yes, my balance is outstanding 583.00. I provided them with 2 money orders total $350 until I get pay. The money orders were dropped on January 1 and today January 5 I received an email to move out because full payment was not received and they will return payment. Why will you return payment, if I have a balance. I need the corporate office and BBB to contact me ASAP. The management there are very rude and unreasonable.

      Raised prices from $23/month to $52 per month within a little over a year. The building has mice which will damage your stored items, and the building takes no responsibility other than forcing you to buy their insurance even if you already have your own. The roof leaks into units, and the front door has been broken for months preventing access to stored items (and preventing move outs). "Climate controlled" is used very loosely with temperatures ranging from 40 degrees to 90 degrees. Literally the worst storage facility I have used or heard of.

      The business did indeed respond and is taking objectively drastic steps to improve the property. Everything in the review remains true, but hopefully they will improve it in the near future.

      My son had a stole and was in hospital over 12 days. They could not identify him. This organization lost his license. Terrible ! There's more ! Every time we go to pay his bill so he doesn't lose everything, they keep raising It like it's a joke. They've buy a different lock on unit and lost key. They now want us pay to have it cut and if not asap I everything is lost. What a scam. ! Outrageous makes me sick

      Renting two storage units at Store Space Self Storage in Sanford (**********************), Florida.
      The automatic gate has been not working since April 2022. The on site management has been coming up with every possible excuse on why the security gate is not working (the storage grounds are wide open to anyone who wishes to enter).
      On site management only offered a one time credit for each unit (renting two units) back in May.
      During this time frame there have been several individuals running through my storage building late at night creating a unsafe environment to be in.
      At this time I am paying top dollar for a secured storage area that has a broken main security gate in a high crime are.

      When I first started renting from this build was may 2021. It was great! Now... I just went into my unit my things were molded the building smell horrible this is after the long wait of elevators not working back in December. I asked why does my unit keep going up in price and the value keeps going down... I got that it was in my contract it is subject to change. BUT however I never signed a contract with this company, it was the place before. I would just like cooperates number if anyone has it. Thank you.

      We have rented a storage unit from this facility for several months. On Friday we went in to get some of our daughters clothes as she moved into her next size up, and when we opened our unit there was a horrible smell. As I started going through things the smell got worse, and once I was able to finally get through what was in there there was a dead rat inside my unit. When I called the office the lady seemed very nonchalant and was basically like what we've called the pest control and you know they're supposed to come out but they're not picking up the dead rat so we're just leaving them there and we're trying to get somebody to come pick them up. As I continue to walk the facility I found several other dead rats some that had been clearly there for more than a few weeks if not a few months. This was an awful experience as not only myself but another person who was there as well had to throw away several things that were big parts of our lives.

      I filed a claim with Store Space Storage claims department, and it's been over a month, and no one replies to my emails for updates on the status. The ***************** is owned by another company now, so I have no real way of following up. It's quite frustrating!

      We are very disappointed with the situation that this customer endured while storing with us. Since the occurrence, we have taken measures to ensure a safe and pest free experience for our customers. After researching Ms. ******* complaint, I am pleased to confirm that she signed her documents with us on July 12th and her claim check was mailed to her on July 13, 2022.

      I am writing to express my frustration with the continued negative experience I had at Store Space San Sarco (**************)--- more focus on these recent events. For the last three months, I have been waiting to speak to the district manager in regards to my unit pricing. I was informed by the customer service rep that for any unit price to be updated you would have to speak to the district manager . In the three months, I have made numerous calls to the customer service line with multiple escalations from the call center and still have not received a phone call. I spoke to onsite management and was informed please be patient. We have a change in management and it may take longer than usual. Again, I have not received a call or email as of May 5th.Approximately, two weeks ago I received a phone call from the onsite manager about receiving payment for April rent based on the email she received from the call center. In both conversations, I stated I am withholding April payment until I can speak to the district manager. I felt it was unfair that I'm continuing paying a unit price --- in which I'm trying to address. In addition, the onsite manager in that phone call approximately two weeks ago ended the call by hanging up on me because I asked to still move forward with my request to speak to the district manager. On May 5th, I received another call from the onsite manager stating the district manager will not talk to me ---and she would be the only one speaking on this matter. I asked for the name of the district manager and if I can receive her statement in regards to contacting me in writing. I was then told it is against their policy to give out names and I will not be receiving that in writing. The onsite manager is threatening to move forward with an immediate auction since I am withholding April's payment to speak to her direct manager.
