      There was a judgment in my favor, for $6,000.00 over 6 months ago. They were supposed to release this money a while ago. They are giving me excuse after excuse for the last 6 months. Three weeks ago, I went in to sign some paperwork so the judge could review it and so the check could be cut for me to be picked up at their office. This sounded suspicious that a Judge has to review the case for mistakes. Not good and it makes no sense at all. I will call them tomorrow to see the what story or if there is another story so they can keep holding my money even longer. This firm Sternberg/Forsyte, P.A. represented me in a Workers Compensation Case which we won. File number 23-04-2614-WC I believe that since I have no representation, they are taking advantage of me. They asked me at the office 3 weeks ago that if I wanted the check to be send in the mail or rather to pick it up; so I told them that I want to pick it up. So here I am still waiting.       Good afternoon.  My firm represents *************************** for a work injury which occurred on September 23, 2022.  This claim settled and required judicial approval.  The judge approved the settlement and issued an Order on July 25, 2024.  The agreement gave the insurance carrier thirty (30) days to issue the settlement checks.  We received the checks on August 2, 2024, and deposited them into our trust account.  Once the bank notifies us that the checks clears we can disburse to *************************** which will be this week.  We are certainly not holding onto his check any longer than legally required to.  thank you,
