      Took advantage of elderly man (84). Previously, Best Buy GeekSquad had explained (in a matter of 5 minutes) the man's 15 yr old computer could not be upgraded; man did not believe them so called Geeks On Site. Man explained to Geeks On Site Tech what GeekSquad had determined; On Site tech spent at least an hour to determine same thing = $219. On Site tech somehow convinced elderly man he needed the Geeks On Site monthly subscription = $19.98/mo even though tech knew about Best Buy GeekSquad subscription. Elderly man does not remember authorizing On Site subscription. After 3 months I questioned man about $19.98/mo charges from Geeks On Site; he had no idea so I called. I was transferred to Customer Loyalty, ***** (nice enough man), and explained all of above reiterating "why would he need a subscription to Geeks On Site when he already had Best Buy GeekSquad?" ***** said the best he could do is stop the subscription and refund the most current months dues, Not happy with results however the money is not the true issue: What kind of business practice does Geeks On Site have; perhaps their techs get a commission for selling subscriptions without conscience? *****, at Geeks On Site Customer Loyalty, was made aware of this posting/complaint.

      Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback in regards to your service. The subscription was sold alongside the service on the initial sales call and not by the onsite technician. Once we were made aware that you did not wish to have the subscription this was cancelled and the latest charge refunded by ourselves.

      I have tried twice to have Geeks on Site to come out to repair our church printer. The first appointment was on a Monday between ***** pm. I called several times to be sure someone would be there. After 12, I called to see where was the tech. I was told he had the appt. hours mixed up. The next appointment was Saturday between *****. I called to be sure again. After 12, I called to see where the tech was and there was another problem. This is a hot mess. I will not use this company again.

      This company is a RIP OFF came to fix my computer , fooled with it for an hour. Then said it couldn't be fixed used some kind of tech junk and charged me for doing it then they took money from our account for something we didn't even order... DO NOT USE THESE JERKS THEY ARE THIEVES....You owe us a Refund...

Since the computer's motherboard was bad, it was determined it would not have been cost effective to repair the computer. A refund has been provided for the subscription.

      I called the tech out to fix a black screen problem. Some days it worked but was slow to process. On other days, the black screen again, and it would not work at all. He said he fixed it and it was working before he left. The next day the same issue came up, a black screen. It was doing exactly as it was before I called him. Intermittently, black screen and working slowly. I called Geeks on Site to tell them I was having the same problem as before. They told me there was a seven-day warranty and that a tech would get in touch with me in 24 to 36 hours. They did not. I called them back and was promised someone would reach out to me. Two days later I was told the tech had to get paid and they could only refund me $50 for a service call. I paid them close to $300 to repair my laptop and this is the best they could do for me. I lost my money and still have a laptop that doesn't work!

      The on site tech was very knowledgeable, professional, and was great with explaining things to me. I also want to say that all the ************ always are able to solve my problems.

      The on-site tech analyzed my computer problem and replaced the failed power supply. He checked things over and verified it all and rebooted the computer. It started up just fine. Good quality work.

      My computer was locked. ****** and my security firm thought that the computer would have to be wiped. He had a "few tricks up his sleeve." He restored my machine without losing a byte. Now I tell you that is a pro. Thank you GEEKS ON SITE!
