I purchased the Premier Pro Tall Ranch 12x24 (with a 10yr warranty) from your store located in ************, **. It was installed on Dec 6, 2023. I don't remember the exact date the I called to file a complaint. It should be in your records. I have reached out to the warranty department and the directly to the store. At the store I have been dealing with *****. The complaint I have is because the service I have received has been unacceptable. Initially I reached out because the door would not close correctly. They came out (I believe 2x's) and adjusted the door and did some crazy fix on it. Once it start raining, I found water was coming into the shed somehow through the doors. Every time it rains water comes in. The problem is getting worse. They sent out the contractor that built the shed, they sent the guys that work at the site, and recently a new person. With that being said, they have come out multiple times. The fix has been adjusting, silicone, and telling me that there is nothing wrong despite water continues to leak and the doors continue to be problematic. The recent contractor said it is not a door issue but an installation issue...it was not done correctly. I also believe the company charged me for leveling to raise building on block 8" and did not receive. This problem is not a huge problem. I feel like now I am being treated like I am a nuisance. This has been going on for a year and enough is enough ***** *********, ************

      Hello,
We have been in regular contact with ************** She has heavily modified the interior of her building and states her French doors are leaking. We had an installer site visit to access 10 days ago.  The installer believes that water is pooling and flooding at the front of the shed causing water to seep through the threshold and framing. We have a plan to add additional sealant, remove and reinstall the door to ensure all sealing to code is correct. We could decline to do any repairs as the interior finishing voids the shed warranty. We had to order a sill pan with an ETA of the week of 1/27/25. ***** is aware and communicated with on all this.

      Thank you

Ordered a Shed Winter of 2024 around march, 2 men and 1 women came to build it. They were not prepared and had to call out more workers to finish the job. After a week the shed was pooling water and leaking through the windows.1st call: They sent 2 people out to fix it. It did not get fix, still leaked.2nd attempt: They sent out one man and he Caulked around the windows, it did not help. We had a pool of water with some of the paint inside the shed.3rd attempt: another man came out and caulked the s**** holes and nails. Did not fix the windows.4th attempt: There hadn't been rain in a week and they said there was no leak.5th attempt: They replaced the windows, or took the windows and put them back. The walls started to leak around the foundation.6th attempt: it hadn't been raining for over a week and they said no leak.7th attempt: An "Expert" or their "best" came out and told us the foundation had not properly been put in. He then unscrewed the floor and pulled on it and asked for our help to hold it while he recrewed it in. This is now November 2024. He said he would tell his bosses that we are unhappy and have been stalled for an entire year with our plans. 8th attempt: Playing phone tag for 2 months until they said they would come out around Tuesday the 14th. They then canceled and are coming out Friday. However it hasn't rained in 5 days. They ignore our pictures when it is raining and want to check in person. We want a refund or a new shed, but unfortunately life doesn't wait and we have had to use the shed for storage. Making it harder to remove items for them to see the leaks and we have to adhere to their schedule which is "sometime" Friday. We needed that shed for Chick raising, office work, and it to be temperature controlled. We can not do that if it leaking and it is pretty much a extremely expensive shed that we could've paid 200$ for a kit. They also didn't fully paint it and didn't add the insulation we requested.

I purchased a shed last month from Tuff Shed. I informed them I was purchasing the shed to house a ***. I gave them the dimensions of the *** and said that the door opening needed to be large enough to house the ***. They showed me very basic plans which I agreed. A while later, I received a call from *** that the door was too small to allow entry of my vehicle, the sole purpose of the purchase. She said that they would order a new door and it would take six weeks. I never agreed to pay more for a different door. Prior to that I was called two other times. Once because they said the floor needed upgrading and once to upgrade the roof. I agreed to pay for those additional changes and charges. About a month later they arrived with the shed and door. The installers said the door would be too small for the vehicle and they ordered another door. They finally installed the third door. Earlier they informed me that the shed needed additional paining. Therefore, the shed is still not "complete". Today, I received an email that they charged one of my credit cards for more than we previously agreed. Also, I never agreed that they could blindly charge my credit card. Also, much to my dismay, Tuff Shed in ************** gave my credit card information yo Tuff Shed in ****** without my permission. I have no problem paying for the shed when it is complete for the agreed to price. I agreed to pay them in the future after the shed was installed. I did not agree they could charge my credit card without presenting me an invoice and going over the charges. The contract only said that I would pay them in the future after the shed was installed.

      Hello,

****** spoke with the customer a week ago regarding the final payment being pulled upon shed completion. He explained the process to him we cannot paint until we warm up consistently above 40+ degrees. He is one of several customers who we have listed to do get that done when weather permits. To address the situation, I had ********* reach out to ***. She was able to calm him down and *** accepts the charges and understands the need to complete the painting in the spring.*** will follow up with him at that time to schedule the work. *** has requested to communicate exclusively with *** moving forward.  The customer is fully paid, fully complete, except for the second coat of paint, and knows that we will be back out as soon as it warms up enough to do the second coat.

I am filing a complaint regarding poor workmanship and lack of customer service from ********************. In July 2020, I purchased a Premier PRO Ranch Garage. After four months, the bottom door rubber sweep fell off. I contacted employee **** *****, but after a few emails, she stopped responding, and the issue remained unresolved. On December 5, 2024, I contacted Tuff Shed again due to rain entering my garage. A repair appointment was scheduled for January 2, 2025. While my door was functional prior to this visit, the contractor removed the entire door, damaging the trim, rubber seals, and door frame. The contractor improperly widened the frame using a drill and left the door with gaps and unable to close properly. Shockingly, the original issuethe replacement of the door sweepwas not addressed.I have photos and videos documenting the damage caused. Attempts to escalate the issue to both corporate and local offices have been ignored. On January 4, 2025, I spoke with manager ****, who assured me he would call back on January 6 after reviewing my evidence. As of today, I have received no follow-up.This experience has caused significant frustration. Tuff Sheds failure to resolve the issue and the contractors negligence have left my garage in worse condition than before.Resolution Requested:-Immediate repairs to my garage door, including replacement of the door sweep.-Compensation for damages caused by the contractor.-A formal response explaining how the issue will be addressed.Thank you for your assistance. I can provide supporting evidence upon request and can be reached at ************ or **********************

My husband (****) and I purchased a garage from Tuff shed in August 2023. The Tuff Shed portion of the garage was completed in November of 2024. We have contacted Tuff Shed regarding the following: 1) The concrete floor inside of the garage was damaged by Tuff Shed when they incorrectly placed the staircase and then moved it, two holes remain in the concrete. 2)Tuff Shed did not install the trim around the exterior of the window opening. 3) Tuff Shed did not install the man door correctly. 4) Tuff Shed left nails protruding from the exterior siding. On November 21, 2024, an employee of Tuff Shed (****) came to our house and collected the remaining balance for the construction of the garage. **** pointed out the 4 problems that I have listed above. **** told **** that he would look into this. **** had been unable to reach **** by phone until 12/18/2024, at this time **** explained to **** that he and his associates were going to have a meeting regarding the problems and get back to him. We would like Tuff Shed to correct these problems. It appears that now that they have received payment in full, they are going to ignore us and these problems.

The customer made a purchase in August 2023. It was completed November 2024.
During the installation it was discovered that there was a concern with the staircase that was immediately addressed, however because the staircase had been anchored into the slab there were marks left in the concrete. The installer did some work for the customer for free and gave Mr. ***** some building at no charge as way making up and apologizing for the error and believe that this concern had been settled.
The was an additional opening placed in the building at no additional to the consumer with the agreement that the customer could place the finish trim on the building later at date and that they choose.
We have set and appointment to address the issue with the door. The appointment to service the door is January 2,2025

10/16/24 install date for a shed with custom four foot overhang with porch. We put a deposit down with the balance to be paid when the shed was completed, the shed to date is not completed. They left the shed in terrible condition, the walls were not painted correctly, they had chips all over the entire shed, floors had gaps in them, as well as the windows, nails are sticking out dangerously, gaps in the overhang, French doors dont open and close correctly. The porch floor were cut incorrectly leaving large gaps and bowed boards. Paint on the boards was carelessly done around trim dripping into trim. They came back to repaint the shed and used a different style of paint causing it to need to be repainted again flat used first used satin on the back. Front corners on porch were covered to hide shotty workmanship it didnt hide it.

The date of Purchase was 10/08/2024 with ********** for a Tuff Shed with a discount. I just found out three days ago that **** the representative who sold me the shed was actually in ***** and was in the **************************** I thought I was talking to Tuff Shed Headquarters. I just finished talking to a gentleman named **** ********* who is in Sales in ******* ********** (close to me) and where their Factory is. **** assured me when asked that they do NOT assemble their own Tuff Sheds, they contract them out. He assured me that these contractors are held to their high standards and are no longer given jobs if they fail to meet their requirements. They sent us a young man named ******** and he made a nightmare of this shed!Let me be clear, from the moment I first spoke with **** I requested a "custom shed" and I wanted the exact shed that was in their commercial with ********* *****, and the shed she had custom-made for herself. If you ****** "********* ******* Tuff Shed: you will see the video.**** pulled it up while we spoke and was the only one familiar with the shed I spoke of. No one else I asked knew anything about the shed I asked for and admitted to it. Although Tuff Shed in ******* keeps telling me they will make everything right, they want to put a bandaid in everything instead of replacing it properly and they keep changing the dates to come out and take care of these multiple errors. Yesterday **** at Tuff Shed told me they may not be able to come out now on 11/27/2024. One week from today will be one month since the shed was completed and no one has taken the time or interest to make this a priority! I will send the photos via a text message to ************ as it is the only means I have to send them from my phone. There are 8 problems with the shed and they are aware of all of them.I either want this shed completely replaced with the one I asked for, or all the damages replaced with new parts.

During her initial purchase, she was describing to the agent on the phone what she wanted. What was heard and designed was a different shed;missing several key pieces and components that were critical to the overall project. This design was approved via email and sent to fabrication. Once local management was aware of the problem, we committed to purchasing for her the desired Grided windows and providing other adjustments.  These adjustments include hanging the patio door correctly and fastening one joint in a wall space that was not as well connected by the 3rd party contractor. Additionally, the lead time of the windows is 3-4 weeks creating further frustration.

Once the windows come in (ETA Dec 2, 2024) local Tuff Shed associates will install the windows, and as a measure of excellent customer service, an additional 2 windows that were missing in the original design.

All windows purchased and installed will be done at no additional cost to the customer. At that point, she will be made whole, and Tuff Shed will have surpassed what was approved in the design as a measure of excellent service levels.

      Thank you,

I inquired about a shed with a tall door that opened outwards. I Informed him that my son is 65. I also wanted the shed to sit low to the ground. He sent me a picture of a shed, but the door height was only 6 tall, so I upgraded to a tall premier Ranch, which only had a 62 tall door. My son and I went to the showroom and looked at the sheds and saw one with a standard door. We inquired about that door, and ***** told us that that type of door only opens inwards, but it was the height we needed. We said we have to think about it. There was another customer in the showroom that heard this conversation. We upgraded our order over $650 to include the standard inward opening door. Two weeks later, I learned that the door that we upgraded to couldve been placed to open outward. When I found this out, I was really furious. Especially, after having ***** come out two times to fix everything that the installers did wrong and didnt do. The second week ***** asked me why I got a door that opened inward. I told him because that was the only way they came. He said that was incorrect. He also teaches the subcontractors how to install sheds and goes around and fixes all of the installers mistakes. I contacted corporate and spoke to someone. Then I was referred to the district manager whom doesnt believe that my son and I were told that those doors only open inward by *****. But that is what we were told and if you find the customer that was in the showroom, then the truth will be known. Before the door issue, I spoke locally and was offered a $200 refund for my inconvenience due to poor quality craftsmanship by the installers and poor quality material. The district manager will replace the door to open outwards for over $350. For he doesnt believe that ***** said that they only open inward. I upgraded the shed two times, and dont feel I should have to pay for another door that opens outwards.

I purchased a shed for my rental property on March 27th 2024. I was promised the shed would be built in 4-8 weeks. It wasnt built until 9/12/24. After the shed was built it failed a home inspection. Then after the home failed the inspection they pressured me into signing a completion of job order. It wasnt until I pointed out that they were prohibited by law from asking me to sign this that the pressure stopped. I paid 550 dollars for shed anchors they were never installed and 110 dollars for two vents that were never installed. The company did not help me resolve the issue until I complained to corporate. The ** ***** ****** got involved and asked me about the structure.I explained to him the situation and told him it would be best if a manager go to the site and take pictures. His exact words were he did not want to send someone to my house due to it being a 5 hour car ride. This was a lie. ******* is 2.5 hours away. I lived there for 5 years. I explained to him that explained to that I live 4 hours away and cannot drive to ******** for pictures. I already took off 9 days of work for the project costing me over 7500 in lost wages. Additionally I was unable to rent my property due to poor coordination on there part. This cost me 9750 in potential rent revenue. As the home sits today. This building was built, and it did pass the building inspection.
What it did not pass was for the Certificate of Occupancy.
We have already scheduled an FCT visit on 11/4/2024 to finish the last few things to ensure it can pass that next. Customer is aware and agreed.

It needs 2 things for occupancy:
Anti-shatter safety film on the windows in the stairwell

Handrails that return to the wall at both the top and bottom of the stairs. No blunt ends.

Unrelated to occupancy, it needs concrete anchors per the customers request vs dirt anchors and per the inspector 4+ anchors would be sufficient.

I am rejecting this response because: there is nothing scheduled to fix the issue. November 4th is a fictitious day! Additionally, I paid 440 dollars to anchor the building appropriately which were not installed which is why the building DID fail inspection. The building needs to be anchored in order to pass the building inspection. After learning that the building was not anchored the township advised that the structure was not completed and that the building should FAIL the inspection. Additionally there were vents that were paid for that were not installed.

      Sincerely,

Yes. The company showed up unannounced. We live in ******* and the home is in ********. It would have been nice to know they were coming. In order to enter the shed to make repairs, the contractor removed a window. This set off my security alarm. Additionally, the company  charged us 440 For anchors that were never used. We are currently seeking a refund. On top of that the contractor called and asked where we would like the vents to be places. We had no idea where to place them so there was a lot of back and forth with management. Ultimate while my wife and I were at work we had to make a decision. This entire project has been a nightmare! Poor communication! We were told the home would be built in 4-8 weeks and its hopefully finished today after 28 weeks. When I spoke with ***** in June she told me the reason for the delay was due to a change order. *****, the manager, told me ***** was an idiot and there were no change orders. ***** stated that shed this big take along time. ***** ****** the ** followed up and said that **** the sales man should not have told me that the shed would take that long to build. Today when I spoke to ***** she stressed how sorry she was that the change order did in fact happen. After the home was initially built on 9-13-24. ****** from the livonia store was pressuring me to sign a release. This was release was to certify that all work was completed. On her second attempt to get me to sign the release. I pointed out to her, that in the document tuff shed was

prohibited by law from asking me to sign this until the job was completed. Its two Mon that after that and the shed might be done.

We apologize for the miscommunication.  All repairs were completed yesterday and this morning to satisfy the inspector. We have finishing photos if needed.
He will be owed a small refund of about $40 which has been sent to our processing team.
Please let us know if there is anything we can assist with.

I am rejecting this response because:

      Sincerely,

      ****** *******

No one from your company advised us these repairs were being completed. Your contractor showed up at the house and in order to enter the structure had to remove a window which set off my security alarm. Also your contractor did not have the appropriate ladder to install the vents on the second floor. the refund should be more than 40 dollars. We paid 440 for anchors not 340. I Believe your company should cover the cost of the safety film. When I bought this structure my understanding was the house wss

to be habitable.  Additionally, I missed 9 days of work through this companys miscommunication resulting in lost wages of 7560. Also, my property was not rented for 39 days resulting in lost rent revenue of 9360. This greatly damaged my business. This doesnt include the damages associated with the shed taking 7 months to be completed. The purpose of this shed was to increase occupancies and rent revenue for *************. Due to the miscommunication the 2025 rental season will experience losses. For all these reasons and more is the reason I have retained legal council.
