    This company operates clockify.com. They decided to charge an annual subscription after i had choose to cancel.I went on and canceled again the very same day they billed me. It was still pending. I asked for a refund and they said it's not their policy.

    The customer contacted the Clockify Support team requesting a refund for the renewal charge of Clockifys Annual subscription. They claimed they stopped using the service, and they canceled the subscription. After checking the customer case, we discovered that the customer canceled the subscription only after the renewal charge, on June 2, 2023. As the customer is subscribed to the annual billing, this means that the customer has access to all the extra features until this billing cycle ends which is June 2, ****. Clockify offers monthly or annual billing cycle subscriptions. The customer chose annual billing cycle for opposed to the monthly billing for this Clockify subscription. As we understand that in the case of annual billing, there is a significant time period before the renewal, we made sure that our payment platform always sends a reminder a week before the renewal. When subscribing, a customer has an option to add an email address to the payment information. The customer added the same email address they used for the Clockify account, and the email reminder was sent to this email address 7 days before the renewal, on May 26, 2023. When subscribing and before completing the payment process, every customer is notified on the checkout that the subscription will automatically renew, that they may cancel at any time and that paid fees are non-refundable. This note is clearly stated on the checkout page.Every customer has the option to cancel the service as soon as they stopped using it or after receiving the email reminder which would prevent the auto-renewal. Canceling the subscription can be done quickly and easily within the app and without any assistance from the support team, and this was not done before the renewal. Reminder sent a week before the renewal gives enough time to cancel the service if the customer wants to avoid further charges. The reminder was sent 7 days in advance to the email address the customer specifically chose as the contact information for payment and subscription details. Unfortunately, failing to oversee this email does not entitle the customer to a refund
