      Will not refund money if you cancel with them in the middle of billing cycle and will not disconnect during the middle of the billing cycle!

      Viasat satellite service is not quality. The service constantly buffers when trying to watch tv or use the internet. I got another service hooked up on March 24th. I called to cancel Viasat on March 25th. I was told that I have to pay the bill of $157 for the upcoming cycle which would be from March 24th through April 23rd. They would not disconnect my service until the next billing cycle even though I am not using it and have had another provider installed. This is very bad business practice for a company who states no contracts. It sounds very close to a contract to me. I would NOT recommend this company to anyone needing internet service.

      I Was lied to about their services meeting my requirements for services. If they told me it wouldn't I would not have started service to begin with. They charged a 50$fee to set up service and assured it was refundable if the service was cancelled. Called to cancel the next day because service was not what we needed speed wise for work. They did not cancel service when I requested and are trying to charge a weeks worth of service for a day of actual use . They also stated that instillation was free. Then said $75 was needed for a pole because they could not connect to the roof. Shady and deceitful business practices. Buyer Beware.

      Avoid this provider like the plague. a) Their services work poorly in bad weather (snow, rain, wind) in spite of assurances to the contrary b) They subcontract the physical work to substandard contractors. The phone customer support is terrible, and that is if you can understand what they are saying in the first place. c) They bullied, yes bullied, our church administrator into additional services and costs to 'assure better service". Nope. d) They pulled a bait and switch. We started at $70 something per month, our ending costs were $226 a month. e) They unilaterally changed our services to something more expensive based on our usage (which they were throttling by the way to justify the change) and would not let us change it back f) We switched internet providers and there was no way to end the Viasat service on-line or cancel our subscription. When we called, on the first day of the billing cycle, they insisted on billing us for the entire month. Said it was in the contract. Well, they voided that contract multiple times as noted above. g) They sent me personally, not the "business", ie a church, to collections. Even after we "won" the biling dispute, the bank sided with us, and showed clearly they, not we, were in violation of contract. As a church, we do not have the resources to fight a colllections law firm and had to pay. h) When the bank agreed with us and reversed the charges (oh, no way to delete you credit card on the Viasat site) they billed us again under another name. I am glad this nightmare is finally over.

      Being with this company for 4+ years as we live in a rural area, we paid ****** a month for the best package and even upon renewal a simple ******* movie would NOT play. When contacting customer support theyre only worried about the bill being paid but not the issue. When calling to mention starlink and how much more affordable it is, I was offered a slight savings but not before I paid the bill which I had an issue with, bc why pay for what youre not getting? Highly discourage this company unless you have no options but startlink has been a game changer in comparison, my personal experience.

      I canceled my service in November of 2024. It is now March 2025 and they want to charge me $150 for missing equipment. I have my tracking information and the package was signed at their warehouse. The weigh of the package obviously shows the item they say is missing was in the box. They are not helpful. I was told they will investigate and I have to keep calling back meanwhile they are dragging it out in hopes they can get my money out of my bank account. I think it is a scam against people 55 and over. They probably figured I didnt keep my paperwork. But guess what I did

      Scammed my elderly mother into believing they were **** (some by claiming they were with **** and others who allowed her to believe so) AND charged her $100 to start her plan before any service was provided. My parents just moved back into their home after it was almost totally destroyed in ***, the lack of ethics is ridiculous. As a company within the **, it should be investigated.

      I think this company is big thief. They tell you one thing and they do not honor what they promise. they should be out off business. I regreat so much i had business with them. I canceled the service and still getting charged for the service. They said scamers were canceling services. I belive the scamers are themself. I will dispute the overpayments with my credit card. Wish me luck !!!

      Unfair practice when cancelling the service due to excessive price increase. I cancelled the service on 12/18/2024 and they are insisting I pay for another month of service since my billing date is 12/16/2024 even though I won't receive the bill until on or about 12/26/2024. This is excessive gouging by their company. At most, I should be required to pay for only two days. And, I was of the assumption that the end of service contract was 12/18/2024, as it was with *******, which was the company I made the contract with initially, two years ago.

      I have canceled my service several weeks ago I was told I was going to receive an immediate refund on a Friday which never happened I called back I was told I would receive a refund within 7 to 10 business days it never happened and now it's been 2 weeks and 2 days business days and I still am on the phone trying to recover my money this business is horrible and I would like some type of action or resolve for my suffering over this account. ********************** I would not suggest this company to anyone who would have to go through such a hassle to receive a refund when their service clearly did not work and was repeatedly called and told about the service and was brought out a new box and it still did not work poor service.
