      Contracts to perform foundation repairs and rebuilding our deck were executed on 8/29/2023.Payments were provided to secure a schedule placement and beginning work were provided on 8/29/2023 and 9/21/2023. Initial preparatory work was done for the foundation repairs during the week or so after 9/21/2023 and little else. Return to work was demanded by 3/28/2024 by letter and email. The company returned and did minimal preparatory work on 3/26/2024 but no further work has been performed since. Another letter demanding return to work or refund as noted in the resolution section has been sent today by an attorney via fax and mail. No response within 7 days will be considered termination of both contracts with legal actions to follow.

      Foundation repair work was completed 10/2022. The repair initially appeared to work but later the original issue reappeared. *** contacted the company for many months and left at least 25 messages but the owner refuses to return my calls.

      On April 25, 2022, I signed a contract with this company to install anchors to repair foundation issues & a separate contract for a small construction type job. I paid 1/2 ($8565.00) of the contract price for both jobs. I was advised at the time of signing the contract that the work would begin in approximately 1 month, due to difficulty getting the anchors. As of today, this work has not been performed. I have contacted owner *********************** and his office on multiple occasions (I have all the dates recorded). I have been advised each time that they are still having difficulty getting the anchors. I have asked for a refund. I have asked for the work to be performed. They have done nothing. I checked with two other foundation companies in the ********** area. I was advised by both companies that they do not have any issue getting anchors. I passed this information onto ***********************. He states his company uses a certain type of anchor. I advised him that I am perfectly fine with another type of anchor....I just want the job done. Nine months have passed, the foundation issues are only getting worse. I would like the work to be performed immediately or I would like a refund immediately, so I can get another company to do the work.

      This is very similar to a previous complaint we just had. We received this complaint from the BBB on Tuesday 2/28/23. We contacted ************************* Thursday to explain the circumstances we found ourselves in shortly after taking on her contract. We were operating with 8 crews the first half of the year with plenty of staff to handle the workload. Just as we have for years. As the second half of the year approached we found ourselves with only 2 crews which greatly affected our ability to handle the workload, at that time, in a timely manner. Not being able to get specific materials was a very small part of the delay. However, the main reason for the delay has been being short staffed. After speaking with ******************, at risk of sounding like we were giving her another excuse, we were able to be transparent with her. We apologized for the constant delay, poor communication and communicated the circumstances we found ourselves in. We were able to resolve the matter. We have Ms. ******** materials and are working with her on a time frame to complete the project by *****. Like most of our clients, ************************* is a returning client that we have done work for in the past and are grateful for her trust in the quality of our work. Weve had a great reputation up until recently. The past 8 or 9 months have been a challenge for us and weve undergone a unique hardship in the history of our company. We are a small family owned business and have been in business for decades. Weve survived the *** and downs of our economy many times and will continue to adjust and make changes needed to serve our clients. We have recently shifted our management, adjusted our services, and updated some of our internal processes to improve our workflow, communication with clients, and our recruiting process. We are committed to repairing our relationships and our reputation.
